Meet Robert S. Langer
Arguably one of the most prolific inventors in all of medicine and with over 1,300 issued and pending patents, Langer’s work has impacted many lives. He holds 34 honorary doctorates and has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Inventors. He has also served on the FDA’s Science Board from 1999 to 2002.
