Researcher at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University have developed a biomaterial-based vaccine that reportedly eliminates the deadly blood cancer, acute myeloid leukemia
The acute myeloid leukemia vaccine is composed of a cryogel matrix that includes chemicals to attract and activate the body’s dendritic cells, which can initiate an immune response against the cancer cells and provide lasting immunity against recurrence of the disease.
